《怀月》Holding the Moon (2022) depicts a seated rabbit with its head tilted upwards, while the cratered surface of the moon extends across its torso. Cast in bronze and finished with a pale blue-green patina, the sculpture merges the animal body with a celestial landscape.

The rabbit evokes the Jade Rabbit of Chinese mythology, a figure traditionally associated with the moon and immortality. Here, the moon appears inscribed upon the body, suggesting the ways in which memory and desire are internalised over time. The figure’s upward gaze establishes a tension between distance and intimacy, while the lunar surface becomes both a physical presence and a psychological space.

Through this convergence of body and moon, the work considers the changing nature of attachment. Longing gradually assumes the form of remembrance, becoming embedded within the self. Worldwide shipping and VAT included
