Dimensions: Diameter 10.6cm, foot 10cm, height 3.9cm A compact plate with a gently folded rim, designed for appetisers, condiments, or small shared dishes. At the Chinese table, these plates orbit the centre, holding pickles, sauces, cold cuts, sliced fruit. They are the supporting cast that makes a meal feel considered.

The folded rim lifts the Wutong pattern slightly off the horizontal, catching light along the edge and giving the Occupation mark a three-dimensional quality it does not have on flat surfaces. A small detail, but on a table set with the full collection, these plates contribute a rhythm of repetition and variation that holds the whole composition together.
