Studio: Steal the Plane 偷飞机去 Series: “Occupation”
Material: Porcelain, underglaze Qinghua cobalt, lead-free overglaze transfer
Firing: High-temperature reduction kiln, low-temperature overglaze firing
Dimensions: Length 13.2cm, width 4.5cm The smallest object in the collection, and in some ways the most telling. A porcelain spoon is the piece you hold closest, the one that touches your lips, the one you reach for without thinking. It is the most intimate point of contact between a person and a table setting.
Even here, the Wutong pattern appears. Even here, the Occupation mark intervenes. There is something quietly insistent about applying a conceptual art gesture to an object this small. It says: nothing on this table is exempt. Everything is worth looking at again.
